Leonardo Di-Beautiful

So I feel like the world is just as upset as I am that Leonardo DiCaprio did not win an Oscar at the 2014 Academy Awards.
I understand that he couldn’t have picked a tougher year to attempt to get his first ever, yet totally deserving small gold figure (especially since Matthew McConaughey’s performance in Dallas Buyers Club was outstanding).
However was it as outstanding as Leo’s performance in The Wolf of Wall Street? Debatable.

The fact that the two even worked on Wolf of Wall Street together, makes it sadder that Leo didn’t win (yet again) and Matt’s first nomination and he wins?! Kinda feels like someones trying to rub it in poor Leo's face.

WHO MADE THIS?! :(
(evidence of rubbing it in Leo's face)

I genuinely feel like it’s a written rule that Leo cannot win an Oscar. Like if he wrote a movie about the life of Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor who plays him would probably win one for fantastic acting and yet again Leo will be left with nothing. It’s heartbreaking.
No what’s heartbreaking is that Jack Dawson did not win an Oscar… Let that sink in. Lol sink, because the Titanic sunk/ so did Jack. Cool.

Let’s just go through all the films for which Leo should have won an Oscar.

What’s Eating Gilbert Grape:

In 1993 he won our hearts as an autistic boy Arnie,
His acting ability was stunning coming from a 19-year-old. If you haven’t seen the film, I strongly recommend that you do- It also stars Johnny Depp who is rather easy on the eye as a 90s teen heartthrob.

Note: Leo was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, but obviously didn't win :(

Look at him, all happy, probably thinking he will win an Oscar for this performance.

Titanic:

Two words: Jack Dawson. Need I say more? Not really. Jack has made expectations of boys so high in a girls mind that they need to at least save us from jumping over board, be a brilliant gambler, stand up to our parents AND support golden locks and a great smile. Jack Dawson was and is everything to a girl, the only other person that will ever come close is Romeo and what do ya know, Leo played him too.

"I'M KING OF THE WORLD"
-you can be king of my world-
(Probably was thinking of the Oscar he would win #classic)

Romeo and Juliet:

It’s a classic Shakespearean love story, modernized. Hawaiian shirts are worn and the beautiful language that escapes his perfectly shaped lips captivates us instantly (a tongue that we don’t really understand but nonetheless is magical).
Anyway the point is he was Romeo and we all fell in love with him, he cried and he died so therefore OSCAR SHOULD BE AWARDED. Thnx

</3

Leonardo DiCaprio is LEGEND-wait for it-ARY!
The moment I saw that Leo had not won an Oscar, yet again. I was all (Romeo and Juliet flashback)…

"I DEFY YOU STARS"

I even had the whole Kim Kardashian ugly crying face going on.

On a side note, I went to the movies two nights in a row and saw The Wolf of Wall Street. I legitimately fell in love with Leo all over again, even though he is like 20 years my senior I am 99% sure he is my soul mate.
If you haven’t seen Wolf yet, you are seriously missing out, HE IS SO GOOD, HE SHOULD HAVE WON AN OSCAR DAMN IT!!

and if you have seen it, I bet you love the chant scene as much as I do, so here it is for an hour loop

#you'rewelcome
